My name is Claire and I'm glad you're here. I have been involved in psychotherapy for the past 14 years, 7 of those years providing services in NYC. I am thrilled to be back in my roots and being an agent of change in Acadiana. I received my masters of social work at New York University and attended undergraduate at University of Lafayette. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.

I have experience of providing therapy services to children, adolescents, families, couples and group work.I am currently only accepting individual clients, ages 18+. I have over 10 years of supervision experience to graduate level interns and graduate level trained social workers and have served in administration roles for 7+ years.
Feeling heard, supported and understood is a critical part of therapy.  Clients come to me for personalized life enhancements and to create a life they love. I empower, create confidence and provide internal tools to cope with life stressors.  I employ a direct, humanistic, solution focused approach to discover, heal and change.
Claire resides in Lafayette, LA with her husband and two fur babies. She has served on several non-profit boards in the area and is currently aligned with many mental health initiatives in the area.  In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, cooking, attending local festivals, traveling and writing her first book.

What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)?

Answer: Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a unique approach to psychotherapy. ART is unique because the ART Therapist guides the client to replace the negative images in the mind that cause the symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images of the client’s choosing. And this is done quickly, most often within one session! ART is also unique in that it combines the enormous power of eye movements to allow voluntary changes in the client’s mind with well-established therapies like Gestalt, Psychodynamic Therapy and Guided Imagery. Within the ART protocol, the eye movements, along with other ART enhancements, make these therapies work much faster and more effectively.

It treats: Post Traumatic Stress, anxiety, OCD, distorted eating, depression, negative self image, pain management, grief, relationship dysfunction, panic attacks, phobias, co-dependency, memory enhancement.

What are the cost associated with ART?
I currently offer ART sessions at 90 minutes. A 15 minute consultation must occur to determine if this is the right fit and a 60 minute intake must occur prior to ART session. A 50% deposit is due in order to book the 90 minute session, the remainder is due at the due at the start of session.

Intake appointments (60 minutes) cost is $180.00.
90 Minute ART Session cost is $250.00
